All lots marked with * in the auction catalogue are subject to full VAT. For these lots, Swiss VAT (currently 8.1 %) will be charged on the hammer price plus commission, all shipping and insurance costs and all additional services.

Lots without *: Gold coins minted by the government as a means of payment, as well as the applicable surcharges and all shipping, insurance and additional service costs are not subject to Swiss VAT at the current rate of 8.1 %. Please refer to point 3 of the auction conditions.

Important Notice on the Binding Nature of Bids

Please note that auctions are subject to specific legal conditions. Unlike traditional retail transactions, there is no right of withdrawal in an auction. Once the auction is concluded and the bid is accepted, a binding purchase contract is formed which cannot be revoked or cancelled.

Therefore, please place bids only if you have a serious intention to purchase and are willing to pay the bid amount and auction fees within the specified payment period after the auction ends. The auction invoice is legally binding and constitutes a valid payment obligation.
